Ciaran Sugrue is Professor of Education, School of Education, Dublin City University. His areas of research include educational change and educational leadership, continuing professional development, teacher education reform, life history and qualitative methods. Dr. Sugrue is the author of several edited collections of essays, including Passionate Principalship: Learning from Life History of School Leaders (in press), Curriculum and Ideology: Irish Experiences, International Perspectives (2004) and International Handbook on the Continuing Professional Development of Teachers (2004).
