Black Artistic Expressions in B.C.

Black Artistic Expressions in B.C. is a community-university collaboration developed in partnership between local Black artists, IBPOC Connections: Staff and Faculty, and the Centre for Culture, Identity and Education at the University of British Columbia.

On Oct 21st, multidisciplinary artist, musician, and arts facilitator Tonye Aganaba will give a performance via Zoom followed by Q&A curated by Ndidi Cascade.

On Nov 18th, the series welcomes Juno Award-winning rapper Shad for a conversation following a performance by Ndidi Cascade.

On Dec 16th, vocalist, pianist, teacher, adjudicator, choir director Dawn Pemberton will round-off the series with a live performance on Zoom, followed by a curated Q&A with Ndidi Cascade.
